This is the softest milk candy I have ever eaten.  This is not like Milkita or White Rabbit where you have to keep it in your mouth for a bit and then it softens up, this thing will start melting immediately like butter does in a warm pan.  The flavor is similar to Kanro and other candies using Hokkaido milk ingredients.  There are 2 other flavors to choose from besides the original, Strawberry and Melon.  The melon is indeed Yubari Melon flavor, which is those coveted melons in Japan that sell for more than your house.  The strawberry is dehydrated pulp throughout the candy, nicely sweet and sour at the same time.  In both flavors its not centerfilled with a syrup or anything.  The texture might be a bit grainy due to the additive flavors but it doesn't take away from the candy being an otherwise awesome experience.
