Check out this mochi with ramune soda flavor, its not really my cup of tea but it is rather interesting and certainly fragrant.  Theres some hint of energy drink-ish flavor.  Its pretty soft when you bite into it at room temp, and the ramune paste inside gets pretty thick.  It tastes a lot better if you put it in the freezer for a little bit to make the texture slightly hard, so give that a whirl.
